At four o'clock on Sunday 31 May the feast of Pentecost our second child and daughter was baptized Anne Beatrice Zamora at St. Winefride parish in Latimer Road, attended by her parents, her Godmother - her aunt Angelina, friends, and guardian angels. Anne slept through the entire service and afterwards woke up cheerfully in Quicks Road park at her picnic. We invited Father Peat to join our picnic, but no one could offer the evening mass in his stead and he remained at church.
Anne seems to be much less restless since Sunday. We don't know whether her digestion is improving, she is emulating her Godmother, or she is basking in the joy of her sacrament. Probably all of the above.
